Book Blogger Hop – 2/14 – 2/20
 Question of the Week:

How do you handle unsolicited books that appear in your mailbox? Do you add them to your queue? Do you write to the sender and explain you didn’t ask for the book and are not sure when you will be able to read and review the book? Or do you simply not read the book at all?
My Answer: Unsolicited books or any emails I filter messages.  I use outlook and gmail for email accounts.  Once I learned this technique I saved a ton of time.  I also use auto delete or block sender.
So, for books, I basically do the same thing.
ABOUT THIS BOOK BLOGGER HOP:

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended December 31, 2012. http://www.coffeeaddictedwriter.com/p/blog-page.html

I didn’t want the hop to come to end, and with Jennifer’s permission, I’ll relaunch the Book Blogger Hop on Friday, February 15th, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt just like before. The hop’s purpose will remain the same as it will give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

Weekly Questions:  If you have a question, fill out the Form. Each blogger with a selected question will get credit during that week’s hop. Remember to keep the questions & answers G-rated for the younger bloggers.

  1. Great idea, Jackie… I’m always getting solicitations for books. I never send mine to people unless they specifically ask or we have some sort of arrangement (isn’t that the same thing, nevermind) or something. Although I love to support my fellow authors, I don’t like the, push it in your face method. Great article. This is my favourite blog of yours by far. 🙂
