This novel made me think of the movie “serendipity” back in 2001. This is where a couple reunites years after the night they first met, fell in love, and separated, convinced that one day they’d end up together. Pressed Pennies follows the lives of 3 couples destined to be together. I think many of us can remember our first childhood friend romance and those first feelings for someone who they spent many days with right? As a child many of us did not think we would end up married and it does happen. Abby and Richard are an example of what a love story should be about. Then there is Eunice and Bill where they meet and prove age or circumstances don’t matter when love at first sight is so real. If you want to find out about Grand and Carmen’s love relationship, you have to read it until the end of the last pages~
This is a book for anyone wanting to reminisce or read a true love story.
