The Gospel of Yes by Mike Glenn

The Gospel of Yes by Mike Glenn © 2012

This book was given to me free from Blogging for Books for my honest review.

This is a wonderful book which will teach you to live God’s way of living your life. It will show you that saying Yes to Him and no to life’s demands brings peace that is beyond understanding in human terms. You will learn how to change your negative ways to positive ways of Christ. Although I do not personally know Pastor Mike Glenn what he teaches is what anyone can understand.

His book opens with his own questions of why me, why here, why now, who had God created Him to be. He did not know. He had just been lead during a bad year of his life by leading a congregation of hurting people through the aftermath of a leader’s sexual infidelity. What is amazing is that the church and the infidel partner all forgiven and reconciled though such hardships.

I would recommend anyone who wants to understand why it is important to say Yes to God and his ways and no to secular ways needs to pick this up today. It will give you the way to find your identity, your true value, and your unique purpose on this earth. This will help you to stop people pleasing and enjoy being yourself as you join with God in doing the work of his kingdom. My advice is that is if you are always saying no to God and his church, then get saying Yes by getting back into the church and his words of freedom and his kingdom, they are the only way to real life.
