Devastated by Cherie Morgan
I wish to thank review the book dot com for my free copy of this book for my honest review.
This book is about Cherie Morgan and her family. She had to courage to tell her story about her own father (a child pornography addict), to bearing awareness to the world. She wrote her book with the attitude that if only one person reads her story and can make a positive change then writing it was well worth it.
In one part of her book she talked about how her dad would be tired of the dogs doing messy things in the house, so he would put them into his car, take them miles away and dump them. I started to cry. How aweful. If I was a kid and witnessed that, I have no idea what I would do or how that would torment me in my lifetime.
After 25 years of marriage, Cherie’s mom divorced the father and all I could think was, FINALLY.
I learned a lot about scuba diving because of her story to learn it and do it. She says, “Respect the strength of the sea.”
This is such an eye opener coming from a real life story. If you want to become aware and here Cherie’s testimony, this book will give you that. I enjoyed reading it.
